WEBSTER – Act now to complete preparations as a Tropical Storm Warning has been issued for Webster, effective immediately, October 9, at 3:56 PM CDT, by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Jackson, MS. This warning is in effect until October 10 at 12:00 AM UTC.
Residents should plan for hazardous winds of 10-20 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Efforts to protect property, including securing porches, awnings, sheds, and unanchored mobile homes, should be underway now. Expect potential limited damage, such as broken tree limbs and scattered power outages. Avoid hazardous driving conditions on bridges and elevated roadways.
