City Council Meetings

City Council holds their regularly scheduled Council meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Each meeting day will consist of a 1:00 p.m. (time is subject to change) Study Session, and a 3:00 p.m. Voting Session. Additional special meetings may be called as needed. Meeting Location: City Council Chambers at 201 N Montezuma St. Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes, action taken at meetings will be posted on the respective Agenda page within three working days of the meeting. Approved minutes of the Prescott City Council will be posted within two days of their approval. Citizens interested in submitting public comments for upcoming City Council meeting agenda items may fill out the Public Comment Form. Citizens and local organizations may request to make a presentation to the Council at a Voting Meeting. Requests must be approved by the Mayor or two members of Council and are limited to 5-10 minutes. Requests should be submitted not less than 30 days before the desired meeting date. Citizens interested in having Council review and evaluate a request for naming of any buildings, facilities, trails or other property owned by the city shall submit an application to the City Clerk's Office. The City of Prescott endeavors to make all public meetings accessible to persons with disabilities. With 72 hours advanced notice, special assistance can be provided for sight and/or hearing-impaired persons at this meeting. Reasonable accommodations will be made upon request for persons with disabilities or non-English speaking residents. Pay Your Bill

Pay Your Bill - City of Prescott AZ Utility Online Bill Pay will be down on 12/20/2024 from 5pm until 11:59pm for scheduled maintenance. Utility Bills can be paid in the following ways: Automatic Withdrawal You may opt to have your bill automatically deducted each month from your checking or savings account through our Surepay program. How automatic withdrawal works: About 10 days after you receive your water bill, your payment will automatically be deducted from your bank account. This saves you time, money and worry, no need for stamps and you don't have to worry about late or lost payments. To Enroll, fill out the Surepay form and mail it in. Online You must register for an account before you can pay your bill online. To register, see instructions provided. In Person or by Mail Make Checks Payable to: City of Prescott, 201 N Montezuma St, Prescott, AZ 86301-3007 How to set up an online account to pay your bill: Step 1: Read all 4 steps BEFORE going through the registration process, then click here to register. Step 2: To Login for the first time you have two options to authenticate your account. Either sign in with Google, Apple, Microsoft or Facebook, or use any email address. With the social media options, you will use the streamlined approach and will not need to separately verify your email address. To sign in with Google, enter your google email or phone number and password. Google will then push a verification to your phone. Alternatively, you can sign up with your email address by clicking the sign up link, entering your email, first name, last name and password following the requirements presented. The system will then send a verification code to your email address. Step 3: Once logged in, you will need to link your Utility Account to your profile using your full 10 digit account number from your Utility Bill. Click on the link to account hyperlink or if needed, click on Utility Billing then Link to Account. Enter the first 5 digits of your account number in the first box and the last 5 in the second box. Step 4: In the future, you will not need to follow these same steps, but just click on your preferred verification option and login. For questions, contact Utility Billing.

The Census Bureau provides accurate, detailed, and up-to-date statistics—covering people and business—relating to health in America. Subtopics include: Annual Capital Expenditures Survey (ACES) - provides estimates on business spending for new and used structures and equipment. Disability - The Census Bureau collects data on disability primarily through the American Community Survey (ACS) and the Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP). Population and Housing Unit Estimates - Celebrating 250 Years of Measuring America's People and Economy. The Census Bureau's Population Estimates Program (PEP) produces estimates of the population for the United States, states, metropolitan and micropolitan statistical areas, counties, cities, towns, as well as for Puerto Rico and its municipios. The annual population and housing unit estimates are released on a flow basis throughout the year. Population and Housing Unit Estimates Tables are available in XLSX or CSV format. Demographic analysis is a technique used to develop an understanding of the age, sex, and racial composition of a population and how it has changed over time. The race categories from each Census are reconciled with those race categories that appear in the data from administrative records. Voting and Registration Celebrating 250 Years of Measuring America's People and Economy Countdown to America's 250th Anniversary - July 4, 2026 For every national election since 1964, the Census Bureau has collected data on the characteristics of American voters. The data shows how many citizens of voting age are registered and how many vote, broken down by age and sex, race and ethnicity, and more. Featured sections include Voting and Registration Visualizations with charts, tables, maps, and interactive graphic elements; the Current Population Survey (CPS), a monthly survey sponsored by the Bureau of Labor Statistics and conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau; and the Redistricting Data Program, which provides state legislatures with small area census population tabulations necessary for legislative redistricting as required by Public Law 94-171. Voting and Registration Data Tables are available for elections in November 2024 (released April 2025), November 2022 (released April 2023), and November 2020 (released April 2021). P20 detailed tables are released every two years following national level elections. Publications include reports on Voting and Registration in the Election of November 2022 (April 2024), November 2020 (February 2022), and An Analysis of the 2018 Congressional Election (December 2021). Visualizations available include Questions on the Voting Supplement of the Current Population Survey (March 16, 2023); Participation in Presidential Elections by Sex Since 1980 (February 25, 2020); Participation in Congressional Elections by Sex Since 1978 (February 25, 2020); and Congressional District Voting Rates and Population Characteristics (February 14, 2020). Families and Living Arrangements - Celebrating 250 Years of Measuring America's People and Economy. The Census Bureau collects data about American families for the nation, states and communities. Our statistics describe trends in household and family composition, and show the number of children, young adults and couples living in the United States. Subtopics include: Child Care - Information collected on child care has evolved over the years to include comprehensive data on child care use, cost, and receipt of government assistance. Child Support - Child support can be an important income source for children and their custodial parents who receive these payments. Child Well-Being - Information collected on child wellbeing includes data on school experiences, participation in extracurricular activities and parental involvement. Children - All Census Bureau demographic surveys collect information about children. The information collected varies. Families and Households - All Census Bureau demographic surveys collect information about the residents of each housing unit and how they are related. Fertility - Information about the fertility of women both for the nation as a whole as well as for individual states and lower level geography. Grandparents and Grandchildren - Households include a variety of living arrangements, one being an increase in grandparents living with grandchildren. Marriage and Divorce - The U.S. Census Bureau provides the current marital status of persons, by age, sex, and race and the estimated median age at first marriage for men and women. Same-Sex Couples - Data about same-sex couples, including married and unmarried couples.

City Council Meetings

"City Council holds their regularly scheduled Council meetings on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. Each meeting day will consist of a 1:00 p.m. (time is subject to change) Study Session, and a 3:00 p.m. Voting Session. Additional special meetings may be called as needed. Meeting Location: City Council Chambers at 201 N Montezuma St. Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes, action taken at meetings will be posted on the respective Agenda page within three working days of the meeting. Approved minutes of the Prescott City Council will be posted within two days of their approval. Citizens interested in submitting public comments for upcoming City Council meeting agenda items may fill out the Public Comment Form. Citizens and local organizations may request to make a presentation to the Council at a Voting Meeting. Requests must be approved by the Mayor or two members of Council and are limited to 5-10 minutes. Requests should be submitted not less than 30 days before the desired meeting date. Citizens interested in having Council review and evaluate a request for naming of any buildings, facilities, trails or other property owned by the city shall submit an application to the City Clerk's Office. The City of Prescott endeavors to make all public meetings accessible to persons with disabilities. With 72 hours advanced notice, special assistance can be provided for sight and/or hearing-impaired persons at this meeting.
