Wauchula City Hall Safety Upgrades: Construction Manager Hired
The Wauchula Community Redevelopment Agency seeks a construction management firm for Phase V of its Historic City Hall renovation, focusing on life-safety and accessibility improvements.
The project includes replacing the stage rigging system, installing fire sprinklers, upgrading HVAC and electrical systems, reconfiguring auditorium seating for emergency egress, and making the building ADA-compliant. Workers will also repair the roof and exterior stucco.
The state of Florida is funding part of the work through the Department of Commerce. The agency will award the contract under the state's Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act.
Interested firms can download the complete RFQ packet online. The agency encourages respondents to review drawings and reports from previous renovation phases.
