Drivers in the Central and Southern Susitna Valley should prepare for hazardous conditions due to a Dense Fog Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Anchorage AK. The advisory is in effect from October 5 at 9:38 PM AKDT until October 6 at 10:00 AM AKDT.

Visibility is expected to be reduced to one-quarter mile or less in dense fog across the affected areas. This will significantly impact driving conditions, making travel difficult and dangerous.

The NWS advises motorists to slow down, use their headlights, and leave plenty of distance between their vehicle and others. These precautions are crucial for ensuring safety during periods of low visibility.
