The Office of Negotiable Items offers the following services to customers: Accepts restitution repayments for incorrect or overpayments of benefit issuance amounts.Conducts background checks (Bureau of Criminal Investigation/Federal Bureau of Investigation) for OWF and SNAP work requirements. Customers placed in employment receive a free background check. Child Care Licensing providers pay a fee. Emergency Assistance (PRC) voucher pick-up services. Customer aid support with the Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT)/Electronic Payment Processing Information Control (EPPIC). Free mail pickup for eligible benefit recipients without a permanent mailing address. Accepts payment for child support orders. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance (SNAP) Cash Out Program This program is only available in Cuyahoga County for customers receiving Supplemental Security (SSI) or at least 65 years old. SNAP issuance checks are mailed following the issuance schedule. The Cash-Out checks can be picked-up by individuals at the cashiers window. Questions? [email protected]
