The CEC Governing Board is excited to welcome Dr. Jennifer Bailey and Mrs. Stephanie Christian as new CEC Governing Board Directors. Jennifer is a dedicated educator with more than 20 years of experience teaching at the college level, as well as homeschooling her three children. She previously served on the board of a charter school and brings over a decade of experience in online instruction. With a background in online course development and design, Jennifer is proud to represent the CEC online community. Stephanie is an accomplished audit leader with more than two decades of experience conducting and managing complex audits within federal Offices of Inspector General. In addition to her government service, she has over 15 years of experience as an adjunct professor in communication studies. Stephanie is looking forward to representing the CEC Douglas County community. The addition of Jennifer and Stephanie strengthens CEC’s Governing Board as it continues its work to preserve and advance the legacy, dream, and vision of CEC founder and visionary, the late Senator Keith King. Together with Dr. Jill Gildea, our CEO, the Board remains focused on ensuring that CEC’s mission applies to and can be achieved by all students who walk through the front doors of any CEC school. No exceptions. No excuses. Please join us in welcoming Jennifer and Stephanie to the CEC Governing Board. We are grateful for their willingness to serve. Sincerely, Laura Calhoun President, CEC Governing Board The post From Laura Calhoun, CEC Governing Board President: Welcome New CEC Governing Board Directors appeared first on Colorado Early Colleges.
