Team from honey creek middle school, Terre Haute, in, building their model solar car. the Department of Energy sponsored the first national middle school science bowl on march 21-24, 2002 in Washington DC at doe headquarters Forrestal building. on march 23rd the competition included a model solar car race held at the national 4-h conference center, Chevy chase, MD the model cars were designed and constructed by the team members and the best financial advisor the woodlands
