IVMS Theatre Stars Announces 2026-2027 Season in Venice

The International Virtual Magnet School (IVMS) will present its 2026-2027 Theatre Stars season, an after-school musical theatre program for students in Pre-K through 8th grade. The program offers instruction in acting, singing, dancing, and storytelling in Venice.
Theatre Stars aims to develop performance skills and personal growth. Participants build confidence, creativity, communication abilities, and learn collaboration, responsibility, and perseverance. The program welcomes performers of all experience levels.
The 2026-2027 rehearsal schedule is available for each age group.
- The Gershwins (Pre-K to 1st grade): Tuesdays, 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM.
- Rising Stars (2nd to 5th grade) is divided into two groups:
- Rivieras (2nd-3rd grade): Thursdays, 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM (fall). Spring rehearsals extend to 5:30 PM. Monday rehearsals occur approximately once or twice per month starting in January.
- Royals (4th-5th grade): Thursdays, 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Monday rehearsals occur twice per month starting in September.
- Imperials (6th-8th grade): Wednesdays, 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Two Fridays per month and all early release days are also scheduled.
Producing a musical requires dedication from students and families, and consistent attendance is crucial for the spring performances. Families should review the schedules carefully before registering.
Registration opens at the beginning of the school year and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. A completed registration form and a non-refundable deposit are required to secure a spot. Additional forms will be distributed during the initial weeks of rehearsal and must be submitted before participation.
