Island Village Montessori School Implements $30 Flat Supply Fee Per Student

Island Village Montessori School introduced a new flat supply fee of $30 per student for the upcoming academic year. This fee aims to streamline the process for families and cover most of the necessary school supplies for each student.

The $30 supply fee simplifies the back-to-school preparations for parents by consolidating many common supply needs. School officials stated this approach ensures all students have access to a consistent set of materials from the start of classes.

Beyond the flat fee, students must bring their own reusable water bottles to school daily. Additionally, specific grade levels will have further requirements. These include items such as headphones, storage clipboards, binders, and calculators, which cater to the particular learning needs of those grades.

Individual learning environments (LEs) within the school may also issue separate wish lists. These lists will detail additional items specific to those classrooms, allowing for tailored resources that enhance the learning experience in each unique environment.
