House Passes Bill to Extend Government Funding

WASHINGTON D.C. — The U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill Wednesday to extend government funding. This measure aims to prevent a government shutdown, which would mark the third since September of last year.

The legislation now advances to the Senate. Lawmakers there will consider the bill.
