Community Service Information in Colusa

A probation sentence is often accompanied by an order from the Court to complete a certain number of hours of community service in the Alternative Work Program.  A person may also be released from the Colusa County Jail on the Work Release Program. This allows a person to complete Community Service hours in lieu of jail time. If you are sentenced to a term of probation and ordered to complete community service or released on the Work Release Program, you are required to report to the Colusa County Probation Department to enroll in either program and complete a work program packet.  In Colusa County, the Alternative Work Program and the Work Release Program give back to the community through clean-up projects, and various other projects throughout the County. Wednesday – Sunday: roll call is held at the Gazebo located on the grounds of the historic court house, at the corner of 6th Street and Jay Street in Colusa, at 8:00 AM.Click Here for a MapClick Here for the Program RulesFor further information concerning either the Alternative Work Program or the Work Release Program, call the Colusa County Probation Department Office at (530) 458-5871, or contact the Work Crew supervisor at (530) 458-0659.

Colusa County Emergency Evacuation Zones & Alert System (Bilingual)
