It is an honor to serve the Ramsey community as Chief of Police and to work alongside the dedicated officers, professional staff, volunteers, and community partners who help keep our city safe.The Ramsey Police Department is committed to providing professional, responsive, and service-oriented law enforcement to everyone who lives, works, or visits Ramsey. Our officers and staff are well-trained, equipped, and dedicated to serving with courage, integrity, and honor.Public safety is strongest when it is built on trust, communication, and partnership. In addition to responding to calls for service and addressing crime and quality-of-life concerns, our department is proud to offer community programs such as Citizens’ Academy, Coffee with a Cop, Night to Unite, and Kids’ Safety Camp. About the ChiefBrad Bluml serves as the Chief of Police for the City of Ramsey and brings more than 20 years of law enforcement experience and leadership to the community. During his career with the Ramsey Police Department, he has served in several roles, including patrol officer, field training officer, investigator, sergeant, and captain. These experiences have given him a broad understanding of police operations, community needs, and the importance of building strong relationships between the department and the people it serves.Chief Bluml is a graduate of Metropolitan State University and the Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy, where he completed advanced executive leadership training.As Chief, he is committed to strengthening community partnerships, supporting the professional development and wellness of department members, and promoting transparent, accountable, and service-oriented policing in Ramsey.
