The City’s Adopt-A-Flag program was created to unite our community and show our civic pride. The program offers American flag sponsorships to individuals and businesses, not only decorating our streets but also serving as a way to honor a particular person in your life or to show patriotism. The American flags are currently lining Sunwood Drive NW near the Ramsey Municipal Center. The City hopes to expand the program along Veterans Drive NW and other streets as it grows. The flags are in place by Memorial Day and taken down after Veterans Day each year.Two sponsorship levels are available: Friends of the Flag and Patriot Sponsorship. These sponsorships are a one-time donation and include the following:Sponsor at the Friends of the Flag Level - $50One two-foot by three-foot flag – one of the two flags per shorter light poleEngraved nameplate displayed at City HallName on the City’s websiteCertificate of Appreciation and location mapSponsor at the Patriot Level - $500:One three-foot by five-foot flag is prominently displayed on an intersection light poleNameplate affixed to a light poleEngraved nameplate displayed at City HallName on the City’s websiteCertificate of Appreciation and location mapThank you for considering adopting an American flag.
