Wind Advisory Issued: Secure Outdoor Objects Now

Residents in Monongalia, Preston, and Tucker Counties, including the Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston, are advised to secure all outdoor objects immediately. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Pittsburgh, PA, has issued a Wind Advisory effective until 11:00 AM EDT today, October 11.

East winds are expected to reach speeds of 10 to 20 mph, with gusts up to 40 mph. These conditions could blow around unsecured items, and there is a possibility of tree limbs being downed, potentially leading to power outages. This advisory impacts Eastern Preston, Eastern Tucker, Monongalia, Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston, and Western Tucker Counties.
