US-31 & 3 Mile Road Closure: East Bay Township Construction

The Michigan Department of Transportation will close the US-31 and 3 Mile Road intersection in East Bay Township starting April 13 through July 2 for construction work.

Traffic on 3 Mile Road will detour via Parsons Road and Airport Access Road for approximately five weeks. MDOT will also implement lane closures on US-31. Pedestrians will need to use alternate routes around the work zone, and access to State Park Beach will change during construction.

Drivers should allow extra time when traveling through the area. MDOT will post updates on its website as work progresses.
