Huffman, known as Debbie, moved to Titusville in 1985 from Baltimore, Maryland. She spent most of her career as an interior painter and residential lawn maintenance worker. Huffman was a hardworking woman who took pride in her work. She was a familiar face in the community, from the Indian River Lagoon to neighborhoods near the Space Coast.
