Citrus County Notification System for Service Updates

Citrus County launched a direct notification system in May, allowing residents to receive updates by email or text about county services and regulations.

Residents can subscribe to eight notification categories at citruscounty.gov/notify: burn ban status, water restrictions, county news, landfill changes, development applications, Building Division updates, transit service changes, and Code Compliance notices.

Jamie Ang, Communications Manager for Citrus County, said the system expands how the county reaches residents with time-sensitive information.
