A Storm Surge Warning has been issued for Coastal Taylor, including Keaton Beach and Steinhatchee, by the National Weather Service (NWS) Tallahassee FL, effective today, October 8, 2026, at 11:06 AM EDT until 7:15 PM EDT. Residents in surge-prone areas should plan for life-threatening storm surge flooding of greater than 3 feet above ground.
Evacuation efforts and flood preparations should be completed before conditions become unsafe.
