Todd E. Polly, 43, Remembered in Sun City Center

Todd E. Polly, 43, of Sun City Center, Florida, died July 18, 2026, after battling leukemia. Originally from Syracuse, New York, Polly was known for his quick wit, generous spirit and ability to make others feel valued.

Polly had a passion for cars and could diagnose engine problems by sound. He also used his engineering skills to build and repair draft beer systems, blending his interest in mechanics with craft beer. Many colleagues became friends through his willingness to share knowledge, encourage others and offer support.

For five years, Polly shared his life with Barbara Correa. Their relationship centered on laughter, trust and simple moments, including coffee mornings and visits to the dog park with their German Shepherd, Mia.

Despite facing significant challenges and chronic pain from leukemia, Polly rarely showed his struggles. Instead, he continued to offer kindness, humor and unwavering support. His strength matched his compassion.

He is survived by his partner, Barbara Correa; his parents, Mark and Dawn Polly; his sister, Jill Duffy; his nieces, Brittney and Ava; his nephews, Devin, Ryan and Izach; his grandnephew, Dean; and many other loving family members and friends. He carried the memory of his stillborn sister, Brittaney.

Polly will be cremated. Celebrations of Life are planned for the coming months in Syracuse, New York, and Tampa Bay, Florida. Memorial donations may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
