Sun City Center Mourns Beloved Gregory Gallion, 66

Gregory Gallion, a beloved member of the Sun City Center community, passed away Aug. 1, 2026, at age 66. Born March 8, 1960, Gallion was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and loyal friend. His life embodied purpose, kindness and dedication. He approached life’s challenges with resilience.

Gallion found his greatest joy in his two daughters and his grandchildren. He cherished simple pleasures like attending rock concerts with his best friend, Brian, and fishing with his son-in-law, Howie. He also enjoyed golfing with his son-in-law, Mike, and spending time at Florida beaches with his grandchildren. An avid Baltimore Ravens fan, Gallion rarely missed a game.

He is survived by his daughters, Nicole Rimbach (Michael) and Heather Williams (Howie). He was a proud grandfather to Brianna, Paige, Alexis, Ashlyn, Paisley, Sophia and Chase, and a loving great-grandfather to Delaney Mae. His family was central to his life.

A celebration of life was held Aug. 13, 2026, at 6 p.m. at The Life Church Apollo Beach, 270 Apollo Beach Blvd., Apollo Beach, FL 33572. Attendees wore purple to honor Gallion's life.
