March 31, 2023, tornado damage in Sullivan, Indiana
A home, along East Silver Street/East Center Road in the southern part of Sullivan, Indiana, that was completely destroyed by an intense tornado on March 31, 2023. This damage was rated EF3 on the Enhanced Fujita scale by the National Weather Service, which winds estimated at 165 miles per hour. The National Weather Service said the following about this location: “House gone: not well anchored.”
