Treasure Coast Hospice Earns 4-Star CMS Rating

Treasure Coast Hospice Receives 4-Star CMS Rating

Treasure Coast Hospice announced March 3 that it received a 4-star quality rating from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services through the CMS Hospice Care Compare program. Two of the organization's three licensed hospice programs rank among only nine in Florida to achieve this designation.

The rating reflects caregiver surveys evaluating communication, responsiveness, pain and symptom management, emotional and spiritual support, and overall quality of care.

Jackie Kendrick, CEO of Treasure Coast Hospice, said the recognition reflects the organization's commitment to patient-centered care. "We are honored to support patients and their families during life's most difficult moments," Kendrick said.

The nonprofit, founded in 1982, serves more than 4,000 patients annually across Martin, St. Lucie, and Okeechobee counties.
