Washington County Crime Mapping Website Launch

Washington County residents can now track recent crime in their neighborhoods through CrimeMapping.com, a new online mapping system that launched this week.

The county partnered with CentralSquare Technologies to develop the platform, which displays criminal incidents reported to local law enforcement agencies. Residents can search by address or neighborhood to view reports in their area.

County officials said the system aims to reduce crime by informing residents about public safety issues. The platform supports community policing by giving residents data to make informed decisions about their safety and to report suspicious activity.

Residents can access the platform at CrimeMapping.com. The county has not disclosed how frequently the system updates or the time period the data covers.
