The USPS Passport Appointment scheduling tool allows residents to book appointments for passport services at local Post Office locations. Before applying, applicants must complete and print their passport application form from https://pptform.state.gov. The scheduling system offers the following service options: New Passport Only, New Passport with Photo Services, Passport Renewal, Digital Photo Services Only, and Hard Copy Photo Services Only. Users can accommodate up to 6 adults and 6 minors under 16 years old in a single appointment. Appointments can be searched up to 4 weeks in advance by selecting a preferred location and date. The system displays appointments for the 5 closest locations to the selected area. Users can search within radius options of 1, 5, 10, 15, 20, 40, 60, 80, or 100 miles. Each appointment takes approximately 15 minutes per person, and applicants are asked to arrive 10 minutes early. The system requires contact information including first name, last name, phone number, and email address. Identity verification is required through either text message or email verification code. Users must agree to Terms and Conditions before confirming an appointment. Passport renewal appointments cannot be booked online; eligible applicants must renew by mail or online through the State Department. Digital photos for online passport renewals are available at many USPS locations and comply with US Department of State regulations. After scheduling, users receive a confirmation number and can manage or cancel appointments online until the specified deadline. The system notes that appointments are not available on holidays and displays post office hours for each location.

Commissioners are chosen in partisan elections by voters from the districts in which they live. The board duties include, but are not limited to: Adopting, reviewing, and adjusting the annual county budget and authorizing expenditures. Setting and authorizing the levy and collection of county-wide property taxes. This does not include school board, water and municipal millage rates. Establishing policies and procedures for county departments to meet county goals. Appointing the county administrator, county attorney, and county representatives to other governmental boards or committees. Adopting and ratifying ordinances and resolutions as needed for the enforcement of county-wide actions. Reviewing the effectiveness of county services and programs as performed by the departments under the board of county commissioners.
