La Grange Invites Residents to Community Clean-Up Day on May 18th
Join us for a Community Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 18, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM. We will be focusing on cleaning up our parks and downtown areas. Please meet at the gazebo in Central Park at 8:45 AM to register and receive your assignments. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Let's work together to keep La Grange beautiful!
La Grange Board of Aldermen to Meet May 14th
The City of La Grange Board of Aldermen will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 202 N. Jefferson Street, La Grange, MO 63448. A proposed agenda includes discussions on departmental reports, budget amendments, and new business. All citizens are welcome to attend.
Summer Concert Series Returns to Central Park Every Thursday
Get ready for a summer of music! The La Grange Park Department is thrilled to present the return of our beloved Summer Concert Series. Join us every Thursday evening at Central Park for performances by local artists. The series kicks off on Thursday, June 6th, and continues weekly through August 15th. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the warm summer nights. Admission is free for all.
Main Street Closed Saturday for Summer Festival
Please be advised that Main Street will be closed between Elm Avenue and Oak Street on Saturday, June 1st, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM to accommodate the annual La Grange Summer Festival. Detour routes will be in place and clearly marked. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

La Grange Planning & Zoning to Hear Rezoning Request for 309 N Jefferson Ave on May 7th
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF LA GRANGE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION The La Grange Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers, 202 N. College, La Grange, MO. The purpose of the hearing is to consider a rezoning request for the property located at 309 N Jefferson Ave. The applicant is requesting to rezone the property from R-2 (Two-Family Residential) to C-2 (Commercial). NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The City of La Grange Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 6:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers, 120 N. College St., La Grange, MO. The purpose of this hearing is to consider a request for a zoning amendment to rezone the property located at 500 N. College St. from R-1 Single-Family Residential to C-2 General Commercial. Written comments will be accepted until 5:00 PM on May 7, 2024, and can be mailed to P.O.
