Holiday Food Giveaway Featuring Graham Barton of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers

WHAT: Volunteers of America of Florida (VOAF), UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Florida and Graham Barton from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers team up to ensure Tampa residents have access to no-cost nutritious food before the holidays. The event is a drive-thru and each family will receive one food box while supplies last. Food boxes will include a turkey, a mix of fresh produce, pantry staples, and shelf-stable items designed to help prepare well-rounded holiday meals. Metropolitan Ministries will be supplying turkeys and other holiday food items so individuals and families can enjoy a festive and nutritious meal. Staff and volunteers from VOAF and UnitedHealthcare will be on-site to support traffic flow and ensure a quick, safe distribution process. The food boxes will be distributed on a first come first served basis. WHERE: James Cole Village 4011 N. 39th St. Tampa, FL. 33610 WHEN: Tuesday, December 16, 2025 5:30 pm – 7 pm WHY: According to America’s Health Rankings 2024 Report, 12% of households in Florida are unable to provide adequate food for one or more members of the household due to lack of resources.
