Dense Fog Advisory Issued: Hazardous Driving Conditions Expected Through 11 AM CDT
A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for Central, North Central, and Northeast South Dakota until 11 AM CDT today, September 25, 2026, with visibility at one-quarter mile or less creating hazardous driving conditions.

Visibility is reported to be one-quarter mile or less in dense fog, making driving conditions hazardous. The affected areas include Campbell, McPherson, Brown, Walworth, Edmunds, Potter, Faulk, Spink, Sully, Hughes, Hyde, Hand, Lyman, and Buffalo counties.
