School Nutrition Program Manager Jobs Upper Cumberland

The CHANCE Transitional School at Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency seeks a School Nutrition Program Manager to oversee its Child Nutrition Program.

The manager will direct daily food service operations, ensure meals meet USDA standards, and maintain compliance with safety and sanitation requirements. Duties include managing orders and inventory, supervising tray assembly for proper portions and presentation, and coordinating with health officials on local and state regulations.

Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in food preparation and food service, and a valid Tennessee driver's license with F endorsement. A food safety or nutrition certificate is preferred. Candidates must pass an extensive background check, fingerprinting, and a Tennessee DOT physical.

The position requires standing and walking up to eight hours daily and regularly lifting 20 to 50 pounds. Applicants should demonstrate knowledge of food handling, cooking, nutrition, and leadership, plus basic computer skills.
