City of Brenham Utility Billing and Courts to Close on May 5, 2026, for Software Upgrades
The City of Brenham will temporarily close Utility Billing and Municipal Court services to the public on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, as part of a scheduled system upgrade. During this time, the City will complete a planned migration of its Incode software system. This upgrade involves transitioning to a new, more secure server platform to ensure continued reliability, improved performance, and long-term system support. While we will work to restore services as quickly as possible, including utility and court payments, new service applications, and disconnections, residents should plan for a full-day interruption. All Utility Billing and Municipal Court services, both online and in person, will be unavailable during this time. Normal operations will resume on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The City appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as we make these important infrastructure improvements. For questions or assistance, please contact City Hall at 979-337-7200.
