Miami-Dade residents can now report suspected fraud and wrongdoing in housing programs through multiple channels. The Miami-Dade Housing and Community Development (HCD) department offers a dedicated fraud hotline, an online form and in-person reporting.

The HCD fraud hotline is available by calling 786-469-4105. The line accepts allegations concerning residents, employees or businesses involved with county housing programs. Callers can remain anonymous, and all information is confidential. Those leaving messages should state the facts of their concern. To speak with a representative, callers can provide their first name, phone number and a convenient callback time.

Residents can also report suspected fraud to the Miami-Dade Office of the Inspector General. This office operates a 24-hour fraud hotline at 305-579-2593. Calls are confidential and handled by the Inspector General's department.

For online reporting, the Miami-Dade HCD offers an Anonymous Public Housing Fraud Form. Residents can also use the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Fraud Line. The HCD's main office is located at Overtown Transit Village South, 601 NW 1st Ct, Miami, FL 33136, on the 22nd Floor.
