A Wind Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) in Caribou, Maine, will expire today, October 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM EDT. The advisory, which covered Northwest Aroostook, Northeast Aroostook, Northern Somerset, Northern Piscataquis, Northern Penobscot, Southeast Aroostook, and Central Piscataquis counties, is being lifted as breezy west-northwest winds are relaxing and are no longer considered a threat.
Residents in these areas can expect conditions to return to normal as the winds subside. No further action is required at this time.
