Deadwod Draw nr Sidney NE
Deadwood Draw on the NRHP since November 12, 1992. West - Northwest of Sidney, Cheyenne County, Nebraska. Unusual NRHP site in that there are no historic structures, although there are supposedly wagon ruts. The old wind mill and water tank are 20th century "intrusions". Land privately owned and fenced off, but if you want a closer look, just watch out for the barbed wire and rattlesnakes! The "draw" is just a (usually) dry stream bed in front of the windmill. Sidney Carnegie Library building in Sidney, Nebraska; seen from the southwest. The Jacobethan building was constructed in 1914. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It now houses the Cheyenne County Chamber of Commerce.
