Anchorage Park Marina: Boat Ramp Decal | North Palm Beach, FL - Official Website

Anchorage Park Marina: Boat Ramp Decal | North Palm Beach, FL - Official Website Anchorage Park Marina: Boat Ramp Decal Important: Contract Renewal and Payment Your annual payment is due by October 1st. While we won't be charging late fees this year, please know that if we don't receive your executed contract, required documentation, and payment October 1st, we'll assume you do not wish to renew your membership. Your spot will then be offered to the next person on our waitlist. One of the premiere luxuries of being a North Palm Beach resident is access to launch boats and personal watercrafts from the Anchorage Park Marina Boat Ramp at 603 Anchorage Drive. A Permit Decal is required to launch any trailered item from the boat ramp. This decal is for North Palm Beach residents and business owners only. Decal Pricing: First Decal: $100 Additional Decals: $10 each This is an annual purchase that begins every October 1st. All decals expire every September 30th. If you previously purchased a boat ramp sticker but obtained a new trailer or changed trailer license plates, you won't be charged for a replacement sticker. Remember to adhere to Ordinance 5-33: affix all launch stickers permanently to the driver's side of the trailer within four (4) feet of the hitch connection (effective October 1, 2023). Commercial Loading/Unloading: If you're a resident and are arranging permitted work on your seawall, dock, or lift, please inform the office before your contractor intends to use the boat ramp. We are currently discussing the potential need for a separate commercial loading or unloading permit. Meanwhile, any contractor using the boat ramp should check in at the Anchorage Park activities building between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Note that commercial usage of the boat ramp is not permitted on weekends and holidays. The Marina also includes two (2) day docks for pick-up/drop off and a walk-up kayak launch platform (above photo). These facilities do not need a permit to use. Please note that overnight stays are strictly prohibited in these day slips. Wet and Dry Storage With the ever growing interest in owning a boat or RV, the Marina and its waitlist is currently full. If you wish to inquire about your current placement on the waitlist , please contact or visit the Anchorage Park Activities Building (561-841-3386 or 603 Anchorage Drive).

Fiber Optics & Broadband Installation

Fiber Optics & Broadband Installation | Seminole, FL Fiber installation work is ongoing throughout the City of Seminole. This is NOT a City project. The construction you are seeing is being carried out by private telecommunications companies that are installing fiber-optic infrastructure. This type of work involves installing access vaults and underground cables in public rights-of-way. The City of Seminole does NOT have the authority to prevent these projects. Florida Statute 337.401 requires municipalities to allow telecommunications providers access to public rights-of-way. In Seminole, three main companies are installing fiber-optic infrastructure: IQ Fiber Customer Service: (800) 495-4775 T-Mobile Customer Service: (800) 453-6110 Verizon/Frontier Customer Service: (813) 278-0657 Frequently Asked Questions: Who are these people digging on my lawn?! The workers you are most likely seeing are contractors installing fiber optic cables for a telecommunications company. This work is taking place within the public right-of-way (ROW), which extends beyond the edge of the roadway and can vary in width throughout the City. A property survey can show where the right-of-way ends and where a private property begins. Some areas may also have additional utility easements on the property plat. It is the contractor’s responsibility to verify that all work remains within the permitted right-of-way. Who allowed this? Florida Statute 337.401 requires municipalities to allow telecommunications providers access to public rights-of-way for their facilities. Under State and Federal law, the City of Seminole does not have the authority to prevent these projects. Why wasn't I notified? The City of Seminole requires installers to inform HOAs and residents of upcoming work. This notice is often mistaken for an advertisement. What are these flags and marks being put in my right-of-way? Can I remove them? The flags and markings you may see are part of the utility-locating process. 811 is the national “Call Before You Dig” number, and Florida law requires homeowners, contractors, and subcontractors to contact 811 before beginning excavation work. The different colors help identify existing underground utilities and other information needed to safely complete the work. Do NOT remove, move, or cover any flags or markings. For more information about the 811 process and marking colors, visit the 811 website. Who is responsible for damages? The telecommunications provider and its contractor are responsible for any damage from permitted work. Florida Statute 337.401 holds the permit holder responsible for damage resulting from the activity. If you are concerned about potential damage, we recommend taking timestamped photos once you see flags appear, before work begins. This documentation can help establish the condition of the area before construction and may be useful if you need to file a damage claim with the telecommunications provider.
