NJCA Seffner Celebrates 30 Years of Faith-Based Education

New Jerusalem Christian Academy (NJCA) in Seffner marks its 30th anniversary this year. The academy, founded on faith-based education, has grown to serve hundreds of students in the community.
Dr. Miriam Gonzalez envisioned NJCA as a safe and nurturing educational space. The academy opened in September 1996 with 10 students and four classrooms, offices and a kitchen. Construction on the main building began in 1995, with only a church sanctuary on the property at the time.
By 1999, NJCA added a two-story classroom building to accommodate its expanding student body. The academy opened this larger facility in August 2000. NJCA continues to serve families throughout Seffner and eastern Hillsborough County.
