Crusaders School Welcomes New Staff, Adds Jersey Mike's Lunch, and Launches Digital Academy

Sarasota's Crusaders School welcomed new and returning staff for its "specials" classes and implemented several updates to its lunch program and digital communication platform this August. These changes aim to enhance the school experience for students and streamline operations for families.

The school introduced new faces and welcomed back familiar favorites to its arts and physical education programs. Mr. Enoch returned to teach music, while Mrs. Rebekah took on Middle School and High School art instruction. Ms. Cindy is now leading elementary art classes. Coach Scott joined the team as the new PE teacher.

Crusaders School also expanded its lunch offerings. Jersey Mike's became an option for Friday lunches starting September 4, 2026. Parents must place orders for Jersey Mike's on Wednesdays to ensure enough bread is baked. The school continues to accept Papa John's orders Monday through Thursday, and until 9 AM on Fridays. Orders for Friday Papa John's lunches must be submitted by 9:15 AM.

The school's Digital Academy (DA) is now fully operational. All families should have received login information. Parents were asked to be fully onboard with the Digital Academy by September 4, 2026. Families who completed the required forms on Digital Academy received a free 10-inch pizza from Blaze Pizza. The cafeteria site within Digital Academy is also active, allowing parents to add money for lunch purchases.

The aftercare program for Semester I was suspended due to low participation. The school will reevaluate the program in January to determine if there is renewed interest from families.

Parents who have not yet logged into Digital Academy or completed necessary paperwork should do so promptly to access school information and manage lunch accounts. The school will reassess the aftercare program in January.
