Dangerous Rip Currents Expected for Gulf Coast, Minor Coastal Flooding

This alert is effective immediately, October 10 at 9:55 AM EDT, and remains in effect until Sunday evening, October 11 at 8:00 PM EDT.
Dangerous rip currents and large breaking waves are expected, posing a significant risk to swimmers. Additionally, minor coastal flooding is anticipated, which may impact lots, parks, and roads, though only isolated road closures are expected.
For those living in or traveling through Pinellas and Coastal Hillsborough Counties, a Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect until 8 AM EDT this morning, and a High Surf Risk is in effect through 8 PM EDT this evening.
