Sanibel's 26-Mile Shared Use Path Connects Island Beaches

Sanibel residents and visitors can bike or hike more than 26 miles of separated paths stretching from Lighthouse Beach Park on the eastern end to Blind Pass Bridge on the west.

The network grew from an initial segment along Periwinkle Way. Community members designed the system to offer car-free travel around the island.

The "Bike or Hike Sanibel" brochure, available as a PDF, includes a map and tips for exploring island destinations and beaches.
