San Antonio City Commission Meets May 5 for Parking & Shell Station Plans

The San Antonio City Commission will meet Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss parking enforcement, special magistrate requests for proposals, and plans to reconstruct the local Shell Station. The meeting agenda is available as a PDF.

The commission will begin with the consent agenda, including minutes from the April meeting and April 2026 financial reports for the General Fund and Water Fund. Public comment will follow.

Key agenda items include reports from the Mayor and City Attorney. The Attorney's report will cover updates on parking enforcement and the special magistrate selection process. Commissioner Bolender will discuss April building permits and Shell Station reconstruction.

Other reports are scheduled from Commissioners Drinkwine (Parks and Recreation), Huckabee (Streets), and Madden (Waterworks). The Clerk's report and unfinished business will precede new business, which includes an organizational meeting.
