Salisbury, 300th Anniversary Signs Unveiled, July 16, 2012 (7583510556)
In 1930, the Massachusetts legislature authorized the Massachusetts Bay Colony Tercentenary Commission was to celebrate the 300th anniversary of the founding of the colony with historical markers with suitable inscriptions associated with the early settlements of the Commonwealth. Five signs were erected in the Town of Salisbury. The Old Meeting House sign has been restored and 4 new markers have been made by MassDOT.

Streetcar in Salisbury Square - postcard
Undivided back postcard of a streetcar at Salisbury Square, Massachusetts, postmarked in 1909. The streetcar is signed "Exeter", making it likely the postcard was produced from a photo taken during the brief period of Newburyport–Exeter through service offered by the Haverhill & Amesbury Street Railway and the Exeter, Hampton and Amesbury Street Railway in 1900-01.
