Ferkile's Taekwondo Launches K-8 Classes in St. Petersburg

Saint Petersburg families seeking after-school activities for elementary and middle school students have a new option: Ferkile's Taekwondo. The martial arts program is launching classes specifically for students in grades K-8. Sessions will be held on Thursdays in the Fellowship Hall.

Classes run from 3:30 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. and began Sept. 10. For parents using aftercare, Ferkile's Taekwondo offers a pickup service. Instructors will collect students from the car line, escort them across the street to the Fellowship Hall for their lesson and then return them to aftercare.

A free introductory class is available for interested students. New students pay a $30 non-refundable registration fee, which includes a backpack. Additional siblings register for $25 each.

The required Ferkile's Taekwondo uniform costs $64.20. Monthly tuition is $60.

The total cost for new students, including registration, uniform and the first month's tuition, is $159.55. Checks for registration and tuition should be made payable to Ferkile's Tae Kwon Do, Inc.
