Yu Fong passed away peacefully on April 9, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family.She was born on May 22, 1930, in Kaiping, Guangdong, China. She received her education in her hometown and married Wai Fong in 1947. Their marriage was one of deep love and harmony, and together they built a life grounded in mutual care and devotion. She was known for her kindness, her strength in managing the household, and her deep respect and devotion to her parents and elders. She held high standards in raising her children, guiding them with both discipline and love.After leaving her hometown, she lived in Hong Kong before immigrating to the United States in 1976. With the support of family and friends, she adapted quickly to her new life and worked diligently for many years in the garment industry. In retirement, she enjoyed a life of comfort and fulfillment, traveling to many places around the world and spending time playing mahjong with family and friends.She is survived by six children, twelve grandchildren, and eighteen great-grandchildren, whose lives stand as a testament to the loving legacy she built.Her passing leaves an immeasurable sense of loss and longing among her family. Her voice, her presence, and her spirit will forever remain in their hearts. With deep love and gratitude for a life well lived, she will always be remembered and cherished.A funeral service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery Tower Chapel, 5000 Piedmont Ave, Oakland, CA 94611, on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 10:30 a.m.May she rest in peace. 願她安息，福壽綿長。方譚如尚太夫人辭世訃告方譚如尚太夫人於二零二六年四月九日安詳辭世，享年九十五歲，一生留下愛、堅韌與以家庭為重的深厚情懷。她於一九三零年五月二十二日生於中國廣東開平，自幼在故鄉接受教育，並於一九四七年與方威先生結婚，伉儷情深，相濡以沫，共同建立一個充滿關愛與溫暖的家庭。她為人善良敦厚，持家有道，孝敬父母，敬重長輩，對子女教導有方，既嚴謹亦充滿關愛。離開故鄉後，先移居香港，其後於一九七六年移民美國。在家人與親友的支持下，很快適應當地生活，多年來勤奮工作於製衣業，退休後安享清福，生活安穩自在。她曾遊歷世界各地，閒時喜與家人親友打麻將，共享天倫之樂。她育有六名子女，十二名孫兒孫女，及十八名曾孫，子孫滿堂，福澤綿延。她的離世，令家人萬分不捨與思念，她的音容笑貌，將永遠留存在我們心中。懷著對她一生的無限感恩與懷念，我們將永遠銘記並珍惜她留下的一切。喪禮將於二零二六年四月十六日（星期四）上午十時三十分，在美國加州屋崙山景墓園塔樓禮堂（Mountain View Cemetery Tower Chapel，地址：5000 Piedmont Ave, Oakland, CA 94611）舉行。願她安息，福壽綿長。
