Fourth Graders Learn Beekeeping at Lecker Farm

Saint Marys Community Elementary School fourth graders visited Lecker Bee Farm this week to cap off the school year. The Lecker family showed students how they produce honey, harvest from hives, and manage pollinators for local agriculture.

Students observed bees at work and learned how pollination sustains crops and ecosystems. SMCES staff thanked the Lecker family for hosting the visit.
