SAINT CLOUD – The precautionary boil water advisory for customers on Ponca Road in Kissimmee has been lifted, according to an announcement issued on September 2, 2026. Residents are no longer advised to boil their water prior to consumption.
The advisory was put in place on August 31, 2026, after a water line break caused by contractor work. Service was restored on the evening of August 31, 2026. As a precautionary measure, customers were advised to boil water for one minute before drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes. Filtered water also required boiling, and bottled water was recommended as an alternative.
Water used for laundry or bathing did not require boiling. The lifting of the advisory follows a minimum of two days of regulatory testing to ensure the water meets drinking water standards.
