The afterschool program provides Aventura Waterways K-8 Center students with academic assistance including homework, guidance in specific areas of study, and the opportunity to engage in fun cross-curricular games at the Aventura Community Recreation Center.

The afterschool program provides Aventura Waterways K-8 Center students with academic assistance including homework, guidance in specific areas of study, and the opportunity to engage in fun cross-curricular games at the Aventura Community Recreation Center. Schedule Monday through Friday from dismissal time through 6:00 p.m. Location Aventura Community Recreation Center located at 3375 NE 188 Street Transportation The City will provide bus transportation at dismissal time only from the school to the recreation center on all school days. Parents or guardians are responsible to pick up their child/children from the recreation center no later than 6:00 p.m. Program Fee The program fee varies monthly. The fee includes all activities, supplies and transportation. Snacks will be provided. Health & Safety Please be advised that the City of Aventura’s Community Services Department has carefully planned and prepared this program with the safety of its community in mind. Safety guidelines recommended by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Florida Department of Health (FDOH), and Miami-Dade County are being followed. The safety and health of the Aventura community is important, and the City takes all the necessary steps to ensure its safety.
