Jennifer Saunders Named St. Charles County Director

St. Charles County Executive Steve Elam appointed Jennifer Saunders as Director of Administration, effective June 3, 2024.

Saunders joins the county from the City of St. Peters, where she served as City Administrator. She holds bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Business Administration from Truman State University and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

In her new role, Saunders oversees Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, and Facilities Management. She will develop and implement county policies with Elam and the County Council.

"Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to St. Charles County," Elam said. "Her experience in strategic planning, policy development, and organizational leadership will be invaluable as we continue to provide exceptional services to our residents."

Saunders has more than 15 years of experience in public and private sector management.
