Maine's Paid Leave Program Launches: Workers Get 12 Weeks Without Lost Pay
Three years after lawmakers approved it, Maine's Paid Family and Medical Leave program begins distributing benefits this week, allowing eligible workers to take time off for childbirth, serious illness, or family care without losing income.
