Residents in the Coachella Valley should prepare for strong west winds, with gusts up to 50 mph, as a Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) San Diego CA. The advisory is in effect from 1:46 AM PDT today, October 11, until 5:00 AM PDT on Monday, October 12.
The NWS warns that gusty winds can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Unsecured objects may be blown around, and there is a possibility of tree limbs being blown down and isolated power outages. Use extra caution when driving and secure any loose outdoor items.
