Residents of the Coachella Valley should prepare for a Wind Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) San Diego CA, effective from 2 AM Sunday, October 11, until 5 AM PDT Monday, October 12.
Southeast winds developing early Sunday will transition to west winds ranging from 10 to 20 mph, with gusts anticipated to reach 35 to 45 mph. These conditions are expected to impact the entire Coachella Valley area.
The NWS warns that gusty winds could displace unsecured outdoor objects. Tree limbs may be blown down, and isolated power outages are possible. Driving may become challenging, particularly for high-profile vehicles.
Motorists are advised to use extra caution when traveling during the advisory period.
