At 1003 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 18 miles south of Torreon Navajo Mission, or 32 miles northwest of Rio Rancho, moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include... Mainly rural areas of Central Sandoval County.
