Sandoval County Fire & Rescue Graduates Record 13 Firefighters

Sandoval County Fire and Rescue graduated 13 firefighters from Academy Class 8 on April 25 at V. Sue Cleveland High School Concert Hall, the largest class in the program's history.
More than 300 family members, friends, firefighters, and county officials attended the ceremony. Caitlin Holloway served as class valedictorian, and Kennard Toledo-Tsoi delivered the class speech.
The graduates are Juan Baca, Elijah Barton, Joe Chavez, Christopher Gomez, George Guerrero, Caitlin Holloway, Noah Jaramillo, Jason Maestas, Jacob Salazar, Antwon Shendo, Bryant Shockley, Kennard Toledo-Tsoi, and Dakota Trujillo. They will deploy to fire stations throughout the county, including the new Cuba Fire Station under construction.
Fire Chief Chris Bagley, Battalion Chief and Training Officer Lauren Zabicki, and New Mexico Emergency Medical Services Bureau Chief Kyle Thornton participated in the ceremony. Sandoval County Commission Chair Jordan Juarez, Vice Chair Jon Herr, and Commissioner Joshua A. Jones represented county leadership.
